Rockfish Activities

Did you know that there are over 68 species of rockfish along the West Coast of the U.S?   Rockfish are long lived, some living until they are 50 years of age and others over 100 years. Rockfish grow very slowly and are late to reproduce. They have internal fertilization and release swimming larvae.  We hope to inspire you to learn more about these remarkable fish, where they live in our oceans, how they contribute to the health and survival of other species such as salmon, and much, much more.  Do you know the three ESA listed species? Dive into some of these activities and resources to learn more.
